Mackenzie King Estates

We had another gig with the IJO this past weekend. I don’t have many pictures of us dancing this time, but I do have some pictures of the Estate’s gardens and such.

After we danced to the songs of the IJO in the sweltering heat, we had the opportunity to preform to recorded music and then give an express version of our beginner lesson. It was interesting to see just how fast we could get people up and dancing. I believe it took us 15 minutes.

I think the best part of the gig was how chill it was. We got to dance a little, chat a little and enjoy the picturesque surroundings of Gatineau Park.

I think my absolute  favourite part was stealing dance moves from one of the sax players.
